Ukrposhta will ensure the delivery and use of payments under the Winter Support 2025 program throughout Ukraine, including frontline regions, for citizens who do not have the Diya application, and pensioners who receive payments at the post office. About this reported at the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
"Like last year, Ukrposhta, thanks to its extensive logistics network, which includes over 4400 stationary and 1900 mobile branches, as well as over 26,000 points of presence, will ensure the delivery of aid to people," — said Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
It is noted that a large number of Ukrainians, especially from remote communities, do not have full access to banking infrastructure or retail chains where payment cards can be used, especially in the absence of electricity or communications.
In particular, in 2024, among the 1,7 million Ukrainians who used the program through Ukrposhta, almost 1,2 million received payments in villages, and more than 500 thousand in cities.
This year, the “winter support” will be paid almost the same as last year. Only minor changes are expected. The main innovation concerns people who receive pensions and social benefits through Ukrposhta. They will automatically receive 1000 hryvnias in assistance on the day of payment of the pension or social benefit, without the need to submit an application.
How to apply for Winter eSupport without "Action"
It was previously noted that applications through "Diya" will start on November 15. All other citizens who do not have an application can apply for payment through "Ukrposhta" from November 18 to December 24 inclusive - at any branch or through a postman.
People with limited mobility who are unable to visit a Ukrposhta branch to submit an application can contact the Ukrposhta hotline at 0 800 300 545.
After receiving an SMS notification about the accrual of funds, you can contact the branch or wait for the postman at home.
To complete the application, you must have with you:
- passport or other identity document;
- identification code (RNOKPP) or a note in the passport stating its absence;
- for children, the application is submitted by parents - separately for each child (a birth certificate must be provided);
- for legal representatives – a document certifying the identity of the guardian and a document confirming the appointment of a guardian to the beneficiary.
What to spend 1000 UAH on
It is noted that the received "Winter Support" can be spent directly at Ukrposhta:
- pay for utilities;
- subscribe to a newspaper or magazine;
- pay for postal services (parcels, packaging, stamps);
- order Ukrainian-made medicines;
- purchase goods of Ukrainian production;
- Make a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
