The Verkhovna Rada approved the draft state budget for 2024 in the first reading.
"Parliament accepted in general the conclusions and proposals of people's deputies to the budget for 2024. This is the first reading of the budget. For - 285 deputies. Next, the Cabinet of Ministers works on the document taking into account the conclusions and proposals, and by November 20 there should be a final vote on the draft budget," — informed people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel
The main indicators: revenues - in the amount of UAH 1.746,3 billion, expenditures - in the amount of UAH 3.308,9 billion, the limit of the deficit - in the amount of UAH 1.593,6 billion.
According to Zheleznyak, 200 deputies from the "Servant of the People" faction supported the project, "Platform for Life and Peace" gave another 17 votes, "For the Future" - 14, "Voice" and "Trust" - 16 each, "Restoration of Ukraine" - 11. 11 non-factional deputies cast their votes "for". "European Solidarity" and "Fatherland" did not vote.
