Ukraine will receive 454 million dollars from the World Bank for the development of the health care sector. Funds are needed for priority funding under the medical guarantee program. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Telegram.
"The money will be provided within the framework of the THRIVE project, which is aimed at helping to reform the health care system and increase its effectiveness in wartime conditions," — noted Shmyhal.
According to him, the program is financed with the help of the Japanese government, the World Bank, as well as a grant from the URTF fund.
Shmyhal said that THRIVE is part of large-scale international support for Ukraine, which also covers education, transport, energy, the agricultural sector, and other industries affected by Russian aggression.
