Tesla sales in Europe fell by 63%

Tesla data shows that sales levels of its electric vehicles in Europe fell significantly during January. According to Bloomberg, sales of electric cars in France in January fell by 63%, in Sweden and Norway by 44%, in the Netherlands by 42%, and in the UK by 12%.

As for Germany, where Tesla's only car factory in Europe is located, the drop in January reached 59%.

"Elon Musk has attracted a lot of attention in Europe, in particular, when he joined the American presidential election campaign, and also openly supported far-right parties in the UK and Germany," — the material reminded.

At the same time, the results of the sociological company YouGov indicate that 74% of respondents in Britain stated that "interference by American politicians in internal European political matters is unacceptable." Also, 71% of Britons have a negative attitude towards Elon Musk.

The company found similar figures on such issues in Germany, namely 76% and 71%, respectively.
