More than 180 hryvnias are allocated for basic military training (BZVP) for each recruit. This was reported by the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted there that each mobilized man must receive a single combat kit. It includes a cap, panama, hat, summer and winter suits, socks, underwear, boots (summer and winter), gloves and other items. Safety glasses, helmets and body armor, elbow pads, knee pads, tactical backpacks, rucksacks and sleeping bags are also provided.
All this property remains the property of the serviceman, with the exception of the bulletproof vest and helmet, which must be returned.
According to the data of the Ground Forces, today the total cost of securing a recruit during the BZVP is 180 hryvnias. Of these, 804 hryvnias were allocated for uniforms, 99 hryvnias for ammunition, and 75 hryvnias for food.
"As for ammunition, the training centers have no shortage — all are fully equipped with 7,62 mm caliber in the required amount," — the Ground Forces assured.
