The US House of Representatives approved the government's budget for two months. However, the document does not provide for money to support Ukraine and Israel.
The US House of Representatives at its regular meeting approved a budget to finance the government for two months without Ukraine's aid. The initiative was put forward by the speaker of the Chamber, Mike Johnson. About this it says on the website the American Parliament.
The bill was supported by 336 congressmen, opposed by 95. The document provides for continued funding of the US government after November 17, when the previous interim budget expires. Thus, the American government will have funds until January 19.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer informed, that the combined package, which includes aid to Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan and the border, will be considered by the House after Thanksgiving (Nov. 23), when senators from both parties negotiate border policy.
