In Ukraine, it is once again possible to apply for a “Schoolchild Package” worth 5,000 hryvnias. The money is allocated to prepare children for their first year of school. This was reported by “actions«.
The state aid is intended to cover the primary needs of future first-graders. Parents can use the 5,000 hryvnias received to purchase books, stationery, school supplies, clothes, and shoes.
Citizens of Ukraine who are:
- one of the child's biological parents;
- official adoptive parent;
- the legal representative of the first-grader.
A separate procedure is provided for guardians of orphans and children deprived of parental care. They must submit a corresponding application offline at any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to apply to "Diya"
To apply for financial assistance online, you need to follow a few simple steps:
- Log in to the "Diya" application.
- Open the "Services" section and select "State Assistance".
- Click on "Student Package" and indicate the child who is going to first grade.
- Proceed to fill out the application.
- Open a Diya.Card with a special account "Care for a Child" in one of the authorized banks (if you don't already have one).
- Select this card to add funds to, check the data, and sign the application using Action.Signature.
If you wish to apply for assistance in person, you can submit an application offline at the nearest Pension Fund service center.
