The government has made an important decision regarding electricity tariffs. Tariffs in Ukraine will not change until the fall. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal made this statement during a government meeting.
According to him, during the meeting on April 29, the government will extend the PSO for electricity until the end of October this year.
"This means that citizens will continue to pay for electricity at the same rate - 4,32 UAH per kWh," the head of government emphasized.
In turn, in the press service Ministry of Energy reported, the night tariff for consumers with a dual-zone meter installed of UAH 2,16 per kWh also remains in effect.
The Prime Minister also reported that almost 3 million families in Ukraine receive housing benefits and subsidies. From May 1, due to the end of the heating season, they will be transferred automatically.
