From 2025, teachers will receive monthly salary supplements. In September, this amount will increase even more. This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian government, Denys Shmyhal, during of meeting.
According to Shmyhal, starting from January 1, 2025, a monthly "teacher supplement" in the amount of 1000 hryvnias will be introduced.
At the same time, from September 1, payments will be increased to 2 hryvnias "in the hands" of each teacher.
"This decision is part of our support for those who are currently teaching and educating young people who will build the future of Ukraine. We are grateful to Ukrainian pedagogues and teachers for your selfless work, thanks to you, even in spite of the war, hundreds of thousands of our children can continue their studies and get a quality education." — he explained.
