"It is about UAH 15 per cubic meter. There is a moratorium on price increases. We will ensure the cost of UAH 7,96 for next winter." he declared.
Chernyshev noted that the difference in tariffs, like all state services, is paid for by the state budget: "that is, we are with you."
"All state services cost money. They are paid for by the state budget, that is, you and I. This difference in tariffs reduces Naftogaz's ability to pay dividends and taxes to the state budget. I am a supporter of exclusively market mechanisms, nothing else works in the world." he added.
Andriy Pavlovskyi, an expert on social policy, in turn, on his page at Facebook noted that such a statement by the head of Naftogaz indicates a possible further increase in gas prices from UAH 8 to UAH 15 per cubic meter, while the real price, in his opinion, is UAH 5.
