The labor market of Ukraine is currently facing a number of serious challenges, one of which is the lack of personnel. One of the main reasons for the insufficient number of employees is mobilization - this is what 73,3% of employers believe. About this said in analytics of the Razumkov Center.
In addition, 53,5% of employers are worried about the shortage of professional personnel. 47,6% believe that the cause of the problem is the outflow of qualified personnel abroad, especially in the IT sphere, medicine and engineering, which deprives Ukraine of its intellectual potential.
25,7% of companies note that Ukrainian business often operates in a "gray" or "black" zone, which does not contribute to the return of employees who have gone abroad.

To solve the problem of shortage of personnel in Ukraine, employers see several main ways.
According to the survey, more than half (53,5%) of employers believe that retraining of employees and redistribution of responsibilities in the team can be an effective measure.
Attracting young professionals is also an important aspect - 52,4% of employers support programs aimed at this. A similar percentage (52,3%) is in favor of encouraging the return of Ukrainian citizens who are currently abroad.
Particular attention is paid to the need to develop training and adaptation programs for older workers - this is supported by 30,2% of respondents. In addition, 23,7% of employers consider it important to adapt workplaces for older workers and people with disabilities.
